I've been deploying a Citrix Xenapp environment (Windows 7 Pro, Windows Server 2008 R2) over the past 6 months and our biggest issue so far has definitely been printing. We've tried sharing printers by a Print Server, Citrix Session Printers, Citrix Universal Printing, etc. Each one of these options has a huge drawback somewhere and we've had to start from scratch a few times; these issues are slow printing, printers not showing up in Citrix applications, print drivers not cooperating with Citrix, etc.
This script begins by require './lib.pl', which will read and execute the contents of the lib.pl file, from the same directory. Without seeing the contents of this file, your question is (provably) unanswerable. The generic method for reverse engineering is: do things in due order. The script engine will read the.
- What we need: TV card with chip Phoenix card reader connected to USB port OScam CCCam TVHeadend XBMC UBUNTU I do not recommend update card with EMM by a phoenix reader, because it can block your chip card. Better is to use original DVB slot for that purpose. OSCam installation for me stable version is 1.10.
- Deploying Printers by IP via Script (self.sysadmin) submitted 4 years ago. by TeamTuck. I've been deploying a Citrix Xenapp environment (Windows 7 Pro, Windows Server 2008 R2) over the past 6 months and our biggest issue so far has definitely been printing.
The best method by far has been mapping the printer locally by IP.
I'm trying to find the best, most automated way to deploy printers to my users. I've found that in Windows 7 there are some Printer Admin VB scripts (C:windowssystem32Printing_Admin_Scripts) that seem to work pretty well for this scenario, however, normal domain users do not have the appropriate permissions to add print drivers or to add printers.
I see that there are a few options via GPO that I can use to give my users permissions to add drivers but I want to be sure that these are all I need and ask if anyone else is using these. Any suggestions or feedback? Recommendations?
SOLUTION Thanks to /u/jgav I have discovered that using GPP was the way to go. Here is a good guide for those who need some detail on how to get it working: http://deployhappiness.com/deploying-printers-with-group-policy-preferences/
